Customise the damper setup
Separate low and high-speed rebound and compression valves are available for perfect adjustment of the damper setup. The short-stroke valve reacts precisely and quickly for maximum feedback and performance. Thanks to numerous customisation options, an individual characteristic curve design is possible in a force range from 1,000 N to 10,000 N.

Highly innovative KW valve technology
Thanks to separate tension and compression stage valves (low and high speed), the characteristic curve can be customised. A force range of 1,000 to 12,000 N at 0.5 m/s can be covered. The arrangement of the valves ensures cavitation-free operation at low gas pressure. This ensures a more stable damping performance and efficiency under extreme loads. The short-stroke valve reacts precisely and quickly for maximum feedback and performance on the respective racetrack.

Value and quality
Technology
The KW V6 Racing is a high performance damper based on the displacement principle which is 5-way adjustable. For McPherson applications as an upsidedown version with a 40mm cartridge with plain bearings. The advantage over other systems is the even lower gas pressure and the associated low gas extension force of the piston rod. With the positive displacement principle, maximum precision is achieved because a larger quantity of oil flows through the valves than with conventional systems. High damping forces of up to 10000N are possible. Housing made of high-strength aluminium or galvanised steel.
Adjustments
Each KW Racing suspension is individually tuned by our specialists based on years of experience and vehicle-related data. As a result, we not only achieve maximum performance, but also less tire wear and better lap times.

Motorsport spring disc
Secured spring disc with a lock ring to prevent unintentional adjustment during racing. Aluminum spring plate with fine thread for precise adjustment of the wheel load and stepless adjustment of the ride height. The lower center of gravity improves the handling of the car. Optionally with shim height adjustment for setting the wheel load without adjusting the spring preload.
Valve technology
Independently adjustable damping with 18 precise clicks in compression, low-speed and high-speed rebound to find the right setup for every requirement. External reservoir as a piggyback directly on the shock or with a flex-steel hose for particularly tight spaces. Adjustable blow-off in the compression stage with 12 precise clicks.
