Low maintenance

The technology of the KW V4 Racing is a consistent further development of the KW V3 Racing (Competition 3A), which is known for its success, and impresses with its low maintenance requirements and high reliability.

Features

The KW V4 Racing suspension is a single tube damper with separate compression and rebound valves and is 3- or 2-way adjustable. Thanks to its individual characteristic curve design, linear, progressive or degressive characteristics are possible. The McPherson axle principle involves upside-down suspension struts.

Technology

The KW V4 Racing is a high-performance monotube damper that is 3-way adjustable in compression, high speed and low speed, as well as in rebound. For McPherson applications as an upsidedown version with a 40mm cartridge with plain bearings, optionally as a linear bearing version. The advantage over other systems is the low gas pressure and the associated low gas extension force of the piston rod. Housing made of high-strength aluminum or galvanized steel.

Motorsport spring seat

Secured spring disc with a lock ring to prevent unintentional adjustment during racing. Aluminum spring plate with fine thread for precise adjustment of the wheel load and stepless adjustment of the ride height. The lower center of gravity improves the handling of the car.

Every KW Racing suspension is individually tuned by our specialists based on years of experience and vehicle-related data. As a result, we not only achieve maximum performance but also less tire wear and better lap times.

Valve technology

Independently adjustable damping with 12 precise clicks in the low-speed compression stage. 15 precise clicks in the high-speed compression stage and 18 precise clicks in the rebound stage to find the right setup for every requirement.
